The Boracay Sands Hotel

“The Boracay Sands Hotel Takes Pride In Over Delivering To Make Your Stay A Great One”

Boracay Sands Hotel

The Boracay Sands Hotel with its traditional arches of classic Mediterranean architecture looks like it would be more at home in Spain or Greece. But in fact it is situated just a few steps of one of the best parts of white beach.

With its classical Mediterranean feel on the exterior mixed with its modern contemporary feel on the inside makes for a perfect mix for travelers to enjoy the hotel and its surrounding without paying an absolute fortune for the pleasure.

This new Boracay hotel is well loved and revered by travellers and locals alike and has become an icon in the area for its great hospitality and that home away from home feel to it.

The Facilities

Ideally located at Boat Station 3, which is about a 5 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Boat Station 2 where the majority of Boracay’s shops, restaurants, bars and of course the crowds. The hotel itself comprises of a great little coffee shop where iced coffee hits the spot in the heat of the day. A Restaurant and bar that has all the cocktails you could wish for and a very generous happy hour.

When you arrive you are greeted inside by a large grand lobby that look out into the central courtyard with an indoor swimming pool almost like a Roman bath, although from observation it didn’t get used a lot as the beach is literally a stones throw away.

In the lobby there are a multitude of day activities to choice from to fill your days up with natural wonder. If you just want to relax then you can get an in room and beach massage from the hotel. Or you are looking for a bit of action the hotel provides guests with many leisure and sports facilities such as diving, snorkelling, day trips and numerous water sports.

Boracay Sands Hotel Rooms

The Rooms

The hotel has 55 tastefully decorated rooms offering all the usual modern conveniences such as Plasma screen TV with cable, air conditioning, bathrobes, desk, hair dryer, internet access (wireless) and in room safe.

Now, for a 3 star Boracay hotel the rooms are quite impressive. Firstly the beds and the pillows are the best I have slept on in Boracay. Which are usually hard as a rock. Secondly, most rooms have large balcony which is on of the best spots to watch the sun go down especially with a glass of wine or a cold beer.

 The Service and the Food

The Borcay sands hotel’s restaurant serves both international and local cuisines with live music every night. Admittedly, we only ate dinner there one night and the food was tasty and very fresh. The breakfast buffet has all the bells and whistles you would expect from a buffet with international and Asian delicacies and again the food was tasty.

One of the great thing about this resort, is the service. The entire stay everything was just done under the radar. We didn’t need to ask for anything it was just done. The Boracay Sands Hotel takes pride in its service and it really shows.

The Final Word

When travelling 3 star you expect to go without a few of the luxuries. But Boracay Sands Hotel kind of a has a 5-star ambience about it. The facilities are new and modern, the rooms are comfortable, quite luxurious and are best we have stayed in Boracay with this 3 star class, with the balcony being the true hero.

The staff are friendly, helpful and offer outstanding service. The location speaks for its self, as the beach is quiet and simply stunning and away from the mass. For the price I don’t think you will get a better place than the Boracay Sands Hotel.
