The Astoria traveller can also enjoy the stunning view at the Sunset restaurant and a bar or have a dinner barbecue at the beach with your fellow guests.

The Service and the Food
Unlike some Boracay resorts where you are one of hundreds of guest, the service can be sub-standard. The Astoria is a small boutique resort where the staff know your name, will stop to chat and no request is to great. Put it simply, the service here is impeccable.
The only drawback with this stunning Boracay resort was the food. Whether it was a buffet breakfast or a la carte dining, the food was left much to be desired. Many guests were overheard complaining to staff about the quality and I assume that of course they are aware of this failing. Certainly at the time of writing this it was not great, things may have changed in the mean time.
In saying that the location of this great resort gives you a myriad of dining options. For Breakfast you cant miss Real Coffee located at station 1. Great coffee and fantastic breakfast menu. For dinner there so many choices but one you would have to try is Mama’s Bar and restaurant. The food is great, plentiful and super cheap.
The Final Word
From the moment we arrived at the Astoria Boracay Resort, you instantly get a great vibe of relaxation and ambience. The attention to detail is superb and the staff are efficient, friendly and caring. The rooms are a great in size, well maintained and most importantly very clean.
If you are looking for a holiday jam-packed with activities, partying, wining and dining, but want to be able to get away from it without getting away from it all, then the Astoria Boracay Resort is for you. A great 3 star resort that has their act together.
